BASIC NURSING
|
Patients recovering from a major illness or who suffer from a chronic illness need qualified nursing care. White Wing provides such patient care, starting a general assessment of the patient. Basic nursing care monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Our nurses also provide sponge bathing for bed ridden patients, and eye, ear and mouth hygiene. Our nurses will monitor patient’s medication and provide adequate feedback to the patient’s doctor to determine if adjustments need to be made. Patients and their families will be educated about the patient’s condition and steps to be taken for recovery.

DISEASE-SPECIFIC PROGRAM

White Wing is concerned about quality of life as well as superior medical care and companionship for the elderly. Our Home Care Professionals include qualified registered nurses, physiotherapist, respiratory therapists, Companions and Home Care Aides who understand special case care needs and take a personal interest in helping seniors and other patients to enrich their lives.
White Wing Home Health Care currently serves the Riyadh metropolitan area. Soon, we will have facilities in other major cities in the Kingdom.
| Dibetic Care : |
Diabetes is generally a life-long disability that requires treatment once it is diagnosed. Some of the resulting health problems of diabetes can be heart attacks, loss of a limb or blindness. We monitor these patients ”from head to toe” to minimize any complications and keep them comfortable and train the patient and his family on the things they can do to reduce or eliminate the complications, including special diets prepared by our experienced dietitian.

| Heart Care : |
The heart can be involved in many diseases, including high blood pressure, valve disease or failure of the heart muscle. These patients need special attention with regard to their activity, food and water intake and their levels of medication, which is monitored by our staff. White Wing’s qualified team is available whenever they are needed, 24 hours a day. In the event that a patient requires a hospital visit, our team will take them to the hospital with our specialized transporting Vehicle and ambulances for treatment.

| Stroke Care : |
Patients who develop stroke need to be admitted to the hospital either in the ICU or high dependency area. After few days of close observation and monitoring patients can go to the general ward. After few days of the onset of the stroke patient condition stabilizes. During that phase patients needs specialized rehabilitation program to make the patient in the best possible shape. We in White Wing have the qualified staff, with a state of the art equipment to give our patients the best chance to return to their baseline functional status as much as possible. |

HOME VENTILATION PROGRAM
|
Patients with serious respiratory problems may require a machine to help them breathe. This machine - a ventilator - consists of a face mask or small tube inserted in the patient’s trachea, and is attached to a ventilator (respirator) which helps the patient to breathe. Patients may require a ventilator for only a few hours a day, or may need to be on the respirator permanently. The ventilators used by White Wing are comparable in quality to those used in hospitals, but because of their sophisticated nature, patients using them need to be monitored and assisted by a qualified person to adjust the settings of the ventilator and to take care of the problems that are associated with them.

VACCINATION & BABY CARE PROGRAM
|
New baby care includes such common elements as vaccinations, and new parent education. New mothers often become quite concerned over conditions in their infants, and White Wing is available to answer these concerns and set the mother’s mind to rest. We also provide regular visits with the mother and child to do routine checkups and answer questions.

ANTENATAL CARE
|
This program includes taking care of the mother during late pregnancy or immediately after delivery. Answering questions, regular visits, education, massage and physical therapy are some of the services we offer in the After Birth program.
